Kiwi Bees has implemented a state of the art hive tracking and management system with the focus of improving the sustainability of the beekeeping industry in New Zealand. This technology allows us to track and manage all of the specific information relating to each of our individual beehives via the web on a cloud server. Every Kiwi Bees beehive now has a built in QR code that can be scanned by any smart phone, Ipad etc and will bring up all the information about that beehive.

We are proud to be leading the industry with this revolutionary technology and are one of only a few commercial operators using this software system in New Zealand. It is our goal to gain a better understanding and track record of what is happening to each of our beehives so as to not only help improve sustainable beekeeping in this country but also to improve the control we have over any potential risks of disease for New Zealands bees.
